Dave's 1979 Honda Civic Restoration (firstgen79)

Original condition, purchased off on line auctions

Side marker lights shaved off.

Second generation Civic repair wheel arches welded in.
The body shop ordered them from their supplier (Cross Canada)

We used the front arches for the front and rears for the rear. They line up really good and the body man said it was pretty easy to line up all the lines with the stock lines.

More work to follow include Weber side draft carburetor ,cannon intake manifold, header, MSD ignition. More Pictures here of the completed project.
Some of the crossmember is made out of 1/2" steel plate, my modified stock Radiator, modified master reservoir, and custom suspension arms.

Were using the stock axles. The driver side input shaft that goes in the transmission needs to be extended so it will lock. I had a drive shaft shop do the work for me.

The "bumpy stuff" in the engine compartment is a 'tint-able truck bed liner' product which can be brushed, rolled or in my case, sprayed. Yes, I sprayed it my self in my garage, and did everything else also , including making the custom mounts and front cross member

Dave sold the car years ago but it has been seen at car shows in Toronto. I don't know who has it now.
