Een nachtdienstje besteed om een begin te maken aan het inlaat spruitstuk.
Als eerste 2 bochtjes gelast en gat geboord in flens om straks een koelwater verzamelleiding te maken,en daar weer een thermostaat huis op te maken.

Daarna mbv lasbochten en pijp puzzel voor puzzel stukje in elkaar te zetten.
Paar uurtjes werk,maar toch tevreden

And a big failure

watch many youtubes on how to connect the rods to the piston.

made a jig

made spacer to make sure the piston pin is centered.

started heating

You have to be so enormeus quick ,and ended up with 4 non completely fit pins.... :anger

Let the project rest for a day ...to start again

Wow That's Funny,the pins are solid in the piston peek:

why?????

pressed the pins out again....and killed the pistonpin bore in the piston :opps

so by by piston :wacked

I'm going to visit a specialist to ask what i have done wrong...and order a new set of pistons.......

As well as heating the rods you want to freeze the pins.

Why don't you bush the little ends of the rods so they aren't an interference fit?

You mean, putting a bronze bush in The small end?

Today started on my thermostat housing.I bought a random thermostat and made a holder in the lathe ,some welding end caps will do the top and bottom

I ordered new pstons in Japan,the should be on there way.
I'l go to the shop where they machined the motor,and hopefuly they will let me do the mounting under their supervision.

Picked up the fabrication of the inlet manifold.
Water gallery an thermostat housing.
When that thats finished ,vacuum gallery is to be made.

Nice job!

What do you mean, " vacumm gallery"? Are you connecting all the runner together or just something for your brake booster?

Could you have built a remote thermostat housing instead?
