I guess my other thread got deleted by the 1stgen poltergeist. So here goes with a new thread with all the old pics sans text, plus a few new ones.

The last few pics are a bracket I made that connects the stock CVCC motor mount to the Integra Engine/Transmission

I machined the integra hubs into the civic knuckles so the front is 4x100, not sure how I'm gonna attack the rears.

Finished Rear mount, Almost done with drivers side, but camera died, so I'll post more pics later. Enjoy.

It's closer to being finished than that, but I gotta get the other pics.

Update

Here are pics that show various clearances (Tie rod, cross member, firewall)

So the motor is finally mounted!

I'm planning on repainting it silver.
I hope to have it running this summer to work out the technical kinks, then next winter, tear it down and give it a nice paintjob.

Update: I made a new rear mount that is much stiffer and stronger. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Let me know what you think.

ive been rethinking my motor mounts recently and hockey pucks was the way i was going, but your idea about mounting them sideways makes more sense

Yeah, you wanna put them perpendicular to the rotational axis of the engine/drive-line. That way the rubber can dampen some of the higher frequency vibrations. The mount is extremely stiff and virtually solid, so I'm sure this thing is gonna rattle a bit. I was so disheartened when the first rear mount I made ended up being so loose that I could make the engine hit the crossmember by hand, but now that this is done, it seems overbuilt and I hope it will work great.
