I am glad to see these wheels getting put to use! When I ran them they stuck out slightly more in the front than rear.

SHE LIVES!!!
Finally got her running and idling on her own. I drove her to my driveway and now I have to figure out why she bogs at higher RPMS during 3rd and 4th gear pulls. All I did was replace the sparkplugs!!
Next I have to install my Pertronix system and tune up the Weber and hopefully all is good after that!

Pertronix Ignitor install help!!
Well now I've come to a grinding halt while installing my Pertronix Ignitor (PN:1741) and I have having a hell of time stripping out the distributor and getting the damn thing in there.
The bottom plate of the distributor that holds does not match up the screw holes on the pertronix ignitor plate. Has anyone else had this problem? Will I just have to tap 2 new holes that I marked on the the plate?

Were you intending to service the distributor? As in make sure the weights were free and all? All that Is strictly necessary is to pull the points off and swap in the pertronix piece. The points is the only thing it replaces. You also eliminate the condensed. Do you have a picture of the points in the distributor prior to removal?

I was planning on replacing the entire points system regardless, I stripped everything out of the interior but I have no pics of me taking it apart. Also what do you mean about the "condensed"? Are you talking about the disc shaped item attached to the side of the distributor?
Here is a pic of the distributor in the car, I got the part number in the pic just in case.

I meant to say condenser, which is the little can shaped thing on the side.
This is a picture with the just the cap and rotor off of a distributor. This is the points (left) and condenser (iright) For the pertronix, all you just unscrew the screws to get the points free, and replace it with the piece (with the wires) on the left in your picture. A sleeve then goes over the shaft in the center, the you put the big plastic cap on (which usually doesn't fit well, feel free to modify it a little) and then put the rotor and distributor back on. You also remove the condenser.

Thank you for the pics and I can tell you right now the inside of my distributor looked nothing like that. There was a star shaped metal piece on the center shaft and two sharp posts... I will take pics and post them up... I have a sneaking suspicion that my CVCC doesn't have a CVCC engine in it...

This is what the inside of my distributor looked like before I tore it apart... somehow I have a 1982 civic motor in my 1975 CVCC?

You already had a electronic distributor.
Check the engine stamp to identify your engine.
Distributors are interchangable if wire correctly.

Where is the engine stamp at?
