Trying to get the car ready for the Carlisle Import show this weekend. Put the genuine Honda Civic floor mats in.
I think I may have a top end problem. Smoking on start up and I believe on acceleration too. The oil was quite milk shakey.

Out of the bodyshop and parked in my garage. Need to sort through the fuel starvation and head gasket issues. To be continued ...

Heh, it's never done!
Bob - what's the switch for to the left of the steering column?

That switch controls the radiator fan. I assume sometime in the past a mechanic hooked it up to have the fan run continuously.

I used the Black Satin Dye. I think the black gloss dye is to shiney.

I'm learning the hard way - you're never done. Blown a headgasket. Decisions to make - rebuild, replace or upgrade? :dunno :garage

As an investment, I would get the head reconditioned and leave it at that, but if I could afford it, I'd pull out the engine, have the seals and gaskets replaced, paint the block and clean up the ancillaries, and put it all back together. Your car is so pristine and original, it would be shame to start swapping in non-original stuff IMO. What was it... the CVCC engine was one of the top 10 automotive innovations of the 20th century. Bob, your Civic is a part of automotive history.
