Must be the camera angle. Your picture looks like 70mm. 70-80 it doesn't really matter :DSteph wrote:I just measured it and it's 80mm :dunnoBlackbullet wrote:True but on the tape measure it looks like 70mm to me. Of the stock cars ive seen they have more clearance on the front than the rearsSteph wrote: I never said it was 70mm?

In between writing papers for uni, I managed to fit in a bit of sound deadening in the hatch area. I didn't take photos, because once I had finished my lower back was hurting from leaning over the back of the car for so long, and all I wanted to do was pack up and go lay down on the lounge. I managed to cover the strut towers, the spare wheel well, and all the surrounding areas, as well as the tail section. I immediately noticed the difference in noise coming from the rear. So much so, that I'm now determined to do the doors and firewall once exams are over in a few weeks time. I'd actually like to do the floor too, but I think that would add too much weight to the car, so the doors and firewall will suffice. I am going to remove the front seats and pull out the carpet so I can spray it black with VHT vinyl dye, so while it's out I'll put some underlay in to make the carpet more comfortable under foot, as well as soak up internal and external noise. I really want to get back to my header project now, as I'm desperate to fit a new exhaust.
I also found a NOS rear hatch lock with handle and two original Honda keys. It was the scoop of the... err... month at about $30 I plan to have all the locks keyed alike to match these keys.
