Hey all , thought it was a bout time to make a build thread
This Is My 1977 Civic With a standard EB2 1200 in it that has been nick named "lady bug" by my mates !
The car is in great shape for its age with very minor rust and body work to be done
I bought the car last year (2010) in may but did not get it resisted till September ( due to losing my license for 3 months )
i picked it up for $500 off a guy who bought it off his mates grandma who had owned it since new
when i got it had all ready had a bit of work done to it
HD Radiator
Rebuilt Steering rack
New brake lines
New Adjustable Munroe Struts on all 4 Front have camber tops
Vinyl roof in very good condition
the guy told me that the braking system was buggered on it so i rebuilt the braking system and it turned out all that was wrong with it was the left caliper was on the right and the right one was on the left so there were on the wrong side :P with the brake's fixed it was ready for its R.W.C
since having it on the road i have enjoyed driving it right up until my fuel pump totally died about two weeks ago
my plan's for it are to fix the damage on the passenger side of the car repair the rust and respray it
might get the engine rebuilt later in the year
i have a set of whit line sway bars on the way for it and a 5 speed gear box waiting to go on and also fitted a set of crystal headlights and painted my wheels black and put 12" chrome dress rings on :D
thats all i can think for now ... but here are some pictures of it ..i hope you enjoy it :D
This is a few pictures of the car the day i went and looked at it and put a deposit down on it ! :D
Since than i put a different front bar on it now looks like this
