Description
First year for CVCC in Canada. Never winter driven since new, Bought new at Town & Country Honda in Toronto, Spent most of its time on racetracks in the area. CVCC engine was Turbocharged from about 82 till about 92.

Car is very quick although with the camshaft and carburetor setup it doesn't seem to be happy at anything less that 5,000 rpm. from there till 8,500 it pulls like there is no tomorrow.

This was the only model of CVCC available in Canada, and was quite rare even when new as they carried a $4,300.00 base price. This car was sold new in Toronto, Ontario in March 1976 and to the best of my knowledge has not seen a winter to this day and was mostly garage stored (it was painted last in 1982). The original owner had the original CVCC engine turbocharged for many years and hobby raced it at such well known tracks as Mosport, Watkins Glen and Mid Ohio. When the turbo blew up, the Prelude driveline was readied for install, but midway through the install the original owner lost interest and purchased a newer toy, selling the unfinished car to the guy that I bought it from. After 3 years of begging that him to sell me the car, I finally got my wish in September 1997.

Appraised in October 2000 for $10,000.

Currently in Ontario Canada
