OK maybe some of you could help me out here. I do not want the restrictive air pump on my car anymore. But I have a few questions... 1. Will removing the airpump affect my vacuum advance? 2. What other hose should I take off? 3. when I remove the air-injection nozzles, can a just put bolts in the holes of the manifold to seal the leaks there? 4. Where does the vacuum advance come from? I dont want to remove any essential parts! Please Help!!!

The easiest way to accomplish your task, is to buy a Haynes, or factory service manual. The first time I tried to remove all the emissions crap from my 1200 it wouldn't run. So after about two weeks of "try this" or "you need to do this", I bought a manual, traced the vacuum lines myself and fixed it.
