I can dig it Rick, I've been looking for one of them for years...should have bought it when they were easily available.
Two other books I'd recommend, are:

How to Rebuild your Honda Car Engine, by Tom Wilson. HP Books ISBN 0-89586-256-5
Excellant for interchange info.

How to Keep your Honda Alive (for the compleat idiot), by Cisin & Parvin
Published by John Muir Publications...Santa Fe NM
ISBN 0-912528-25-7
Heap big plenty Hippie Humor, and Hippie Wisdom.
I love it...

I went to the bookshop that specializes in all things automotive. And what do you know they had the Honda Performance Handbook. It cost me AU$38.25. They also had two other Performance Handbooks, (can't remember the names, even though it was yesterday, yeah really short memory).

Hey can you get me a copy and ship it to the states? I've got two Chiltons (shit books) and the original Clymer (much better than Chiltons) books. I am always looking for new books to add to my library.

The bookshop also has High Performance Honda Builder's Handbook Vol 2, by Joe Pettitt, and Honda and Acura Performance Handbook, by Mike Ancas. They are both around AU$40 (about US$23).

My 'HONDA BUILDERS HANDBOOK' doesn't show a volume number but it mainly deals with the V-tech engines and dosen't cover any cars in the 2-3gen. just late model stuff (shoes a 477hp turbo GSR motor on front). The bookstore here has a couple of the glen marston book HONDA PERFORMANCE HANDBOOK in stock, I'll see if they still have them.
