where can i find a resource on the changes honda did to the civic from 1972 until mabey 1979. info on the rex and the r2 might be nice too. i'm trying to figure out what year i like best, so that i can start looking for on to buy. i know i don't like to later first generation civics, so i'm thinking 1975 or 76 might be my cutoff date, but i really don't know. hey, does antone know which cars all the chrome trim came on? thank you for any information you can give.

In the states, you can find the EB2 engine in the late model 74's. Mine is a November and has this engine.

Haynes manual has a very nice break-down of all the differences in the back of the book. Height, weight, length, width, clearance, etc. Seems to me the Brits and Oz got the best of the crop, while we got extra metal, and big ugly bumpers.

EB2's carried thru the '77 model year (USA). EB3's were '78-'79 models (USA).
