i know of, what it looks like to be, a '76 ish civic- cvcc on the side of the road in southeast portland. it has straight and seemingly rust free faded original paint red body panels. i went and talked to the guy who owns it and he said it had a blown head gasket and that he still owned some money on a title loan he got with it. the biggest problen i see is that it been there for quite a while with both passanger side windows out! its just wasting away and this is oregon, so its quite wet. i'm sure there are useable parts on this car that someone could use, but i don't have the room.
if any one is interested i'll tell you how to get there

So this is a CVCC and not a 1200?
does anybody know, how huge of a pain in the A$$ would it be to swap an '79 EK1 into a '76 Civic CVCC?
I can just hear my wife scream as I ask this, but my brain is just clicking on maybe a new rally car.
I'm in Portland, so if you want to let me know where in SouthEast it is, I'd love to drive by and look at it.
thanks

corner of 52nd and Duke, right by the Estby gas station. It's orange and is missing the windows on the driver's side.
I guess the person that owns it has a title loan against, wonder for how much.
supposedly whom ever owns it, lives in the apartments that the car is facing. (not sure what unit).
the body seems fairly straight, not sure if it runs though.
