ok, I just wanted to run it by the non-US people and see if I'm getting good info.

The EF1 and EF2 motors were the 1599cc motors that were offered on the 76-78 Accords, right? are these Non CVCC? or are they CVCC, just a smaller displacement.

What is the official designation for the Non CVCC 1600cc Accord motors?

I'm starting to call all over BC Canada and I want to make sure I'm asking for the right thing when I talk to the wrecking yard guys.

Paul,
The only one I know for sure is the EF1=US 1600 CVCC which has a 74mm bore (block).
Then I think the EG1 and EL1 are Canadion/Australian 1600 with different intake and exhaust port configuration. Never heard of a EF2 but that doesn't mean anything! Could be. I hear that the non US 1600 heads go with the 77mm bore block.
