I have a 78 civic 1200 with wagon coils on the front and rear. I was recomended 400lb front and 300lb rear. Does anyone know what wagon front coils are rated at? Also, I have a crx front disc brake conversion and I plan to put a set of 15inch wheels with 195/45zr15. Does anyone know the best offset for my case?

Bloody hell, who told you to use those spring rates???? What is this, a road car or a race car?
Standard springs are around 100-120lb.
Offset to use would be around 36.

Daniel I have springs in my car that are supposedly 30% stiffer than standard, and they are PLENTY hard enough for the street. In fact, the brand new standard shocks are incapable of properly damping them, so with 400lbs in the front, you'll be needing a kidney belt.

You'll also want fairly light springs with those tires. If they're the Yokahama AVS's I think they are, you'll find they have a pretty stiff sidewall. I have a much better ride with the Toyo Proxies I have now. These are, however, a little taller.

Can't spare the power, I thrive on acceleration!

You want to keep standard springs and add sway bars. A 16mm front bar and 20mm rear bar for the civic are $170AUD each don't know how that compares to US prices?
