Rats. Crappy Polaroid camera. I'll have to use the 35mm and get some better shots of the gauges and stuff.

Anyway, these are some "before" pictures of my car. Everything is coming out of the engine bay for cleaning and much front end work. New shocks/struts all around, new clutch, new front brake rotors...since I'll have the engine off I may rebuild that too.

The whole car is getting a facelift too. Just had professional body work done to the whole car (2 minor accidents, neither my fault so it was all FREE!), so it's in ready to paint condition. Now that I've seen whats-his-name's in black, I've decided that's what color I'm going to paint mine. Those hoopty-ass side markers are coming *OFF* and I am going to replace the yellow ones with some square ones off an Audi A4 (clear). Thanks to Charles, I now have a beautiful set of slotted mags (the third set that he was selling if you want to see a picture) and they will be going on the car too.

I've made custom white faces for all of the guages (the picture is blurry so you can't see shite) and I will be fabricating some custom lighting for them. I've replaced the faux wood-grain contact paper with brushed aluminium panels and it looks so much nicer (again, not very evident in the picture).

Hopefully I'll be able to do my car justice and have some nice pics to share with you folks in a couple of months...we'll see.

Hey man,

Looks a lot like my project car, beige w/primer spots. I wanted to paint the car black, but my roommate wanted to paint it yellow so we settled on black int., yellow ext.(it's both our car). I've just in the last couple days been contemplating gauge placement and how to get that fake wood stuff off the dash, I'd like to see a better picture of your gauges, and the aluminum.

Looks like a pretty fly ride (love the houla(sp?) girl).
