Anyone know anything about how to adjust the doors? One of mine is too low, I don't know where to start on it. Thanks.....Tony T. .....

You can get to the lower hinge bolts from the inside of the car. You need to remove the plastic wheel well covers (you'll probably need to remove the plastic below the door too). Below the fuse block you should see an oval shaped piece of vinyl tape. Behind that are the three bolts for the hinge. They're below the speaker on the other side. I'm not sure at the moment if you can get to the tops without pulling the dash. But they're inside the car too.

Be careful, the doors are heavier than you think. I'd take a jack (with a blanket or pillow on it) and hold the door up with that. Then it's just working it 'till it fits right.

Thanks Charles...Hmm, I looked and found the top bolts for the door. I will have to pull the dash. Anyone have any instructions for this? I tried it once, could'nt quite get it.

Ten bolts just for the dash. Two at each end. One behind each air vent. Two, just above the steering column (four more to drop the column). one in the "cubby hole" under the heater controls and one in the back of the glove compartment. You'll need to unscrew the speedo cable from the guage and undo the heater control cables as well.

I don't think you'll need to loosen the top ones to align the doors anyway. So if I were you, I just try the bottoms first.

when you get there - if you can't raise it, try putting in some washers where they will extend the bottom...

On another note, I put the rubber peice in the door that is adjusted right (but rattles) and it didn't help. The window is in solid, it doesn't rattle. Could it be the rotten weather stripping that makes the door rattle? Thanks, Tony T.
