I am in the proces of switching to the CRX brakes in front... I found one thing though. I have looked closely at the EN uprights we have here (in Holland) and tried them along with EN hubs and CRX/Civic 90 discs. Tha callipers bolt right on (as described by people with EN wagon uprights in US/Can). The steering knuckle seems in line with the housing (as far as I can see), it only fits into the upright from the other side: into the top, bolt on the bottom. So what is the problem with using this setup?? It all seems to fit, is this the upright used in the US for the wagon??
Then for the rear, are the EN bearings bigger or smaller than the EB, or: do I need smaller or fatter stub axles??
Many questions...hope you may have a clue on the subject of uprights.

hmmm ... I was going to get back to you (and other people) about some brake brackets and rear stub axles ... sorry, I've been so snowed under lately I just haven't had a chance to think about things like that. I'd say if you actually want to get some, talk to Anthony (hobbyhorse05@hotmail.com). He's more likely to have the time to look into it.

As stated before, EN1 uprights will FIT, but not WORK well. If you just plonk them on with no other mods you will have about 3 degrees of positive camber (very bad!) and terrible bump steer / geometry problems (the thing I next have to look at). It's FAR FAR easier to use EN1 drive flanges, CVs and the special brackets on EB uprights (trust me).
It's not the wagon upright the guys in the US talk about. Their earlier wagon (77-79 ?) had EB type uprights but with larger caliper bolt spacing so the later calipers bolt on. I've never seen one of these in Australia and I have no idea about Europe.

Thanks, I'll have to check if there were any wagons brought here, but I aint never seen one yet...
Hey, can't you guys give a specs-technical drawing of the brackets so we can get them made? I know you might not wanna do this but there so much people and so little brackets...

The chances of getting any drawings out of me are pretty much zero (I don't have them anyway) and there is probably even less chance of getting them out of Anthony. If a few people want them then he'll get a batch made. Send him an email.
