I'm probably going to change the cam and oil pump drive to fix what we were talking about in the other thread. Here are some more questions.

1. Changing the oil pump drive can be done from the top end, right?

2. Do I need any kind of bearings for the cam?

3. Anyone care to recommend a brand o' timing belt?

4. Where can I find stiff valve springs and how much are they? Would this be recommended for using an eb3 cam in an eb2 motor?

5. Does anyone make a high output oil pump for the eb series? If so, again, where at and how much?

Thanks, all
Tony T.

1. Yes
2. No
3. Gates
4. Don't need them.
5. Use an EN/EJ oil pump for slightly more volume(a datsun pump is the same, can't remember which one). Standard EB type is fine though. Why waste more energy pumping around any more oil than is required?

Thanks, I will let everyone know how it turns out.
I'll just be doing the cam and pump drive swap, not ready for the pump and pan yet. Thanks, Tony T.
