My '77 Eb1 hondamatic is causing a few niggling problems. Firstly, I cannot get the distributor loose because the bolt wont budge. It is badly worn now and not to many tools can fit in the space to move it. The car is now doing about 9km per litre which is really bad for a 1200 civic. Can somebody please advise me what to do.

Im from New Zealand and was in Melbourne, Austrailia recently and came across and article about the benefit of fitting spacers between manifold and carb. I was wondering if anyone knew andything about it or has done it. Also I'm searching for extractors if thats possible. Please Help. Thanks
