i was driving home the other day my car was runnning perfectly after i had parked my car for about 3 hours i tried to start it again but all i could hear was a clicking sound from the starter so i thought the starter had gone, i replaced it and tried to start the car and it done the same thing. So I tried to turn the crank manually, it would not move at all. i cannot think of a reason why my motor would just seize up like that it was rebuilt 12,000 km's ago theres heaps of oil in it.
theres only 2 things i could think of
i took the rocker cover off and had a look if a valve dropped into the motor but they were all there
the only other thing i can think of is a rod fused to the crank
sorry about the long message but i need help

try booster cables, and some gas.
You'll be surprised. Look for the easiest solution first.

This has happened to me a few times, actually. Funnily enough, it WAS the simplest of problems, my transmission wasn't FULLY in park. And of course it has to be to start the car. Just this morning it almost did it on me again, but I found it was just a low battery, and I turned off all extra current-drawing things like my stereo etc. And it starts fine. Like PJ said, this is not a major valve-crank problem, I'm almost certain. It lies in either the battery, or the starter or ignition or coil. Check all wires too if you can.

(THESE DAMN POP UPS!! arggggggggghhh!!!)
