I'm looking at getting a new muffler for my 1200 and was just wondering what my options are here in Melbourne and how much it would be. I have a feeling it's hurting "performance" - but I still G-Teched at 9.4s 0-100.

On top of this, a previous owner decided the to cut the exhaust pipe, so it's now one pipe within another to make the join. What size do you recommend if I decided to get a whole new exhaust, and are there any places that can do single piece mandrel bent exhausts?

I'm in Auckland and we have Cobi Mufflers. I don't know if you have them there but its a straight through muffler and looks like your front muffler. I'm not sure how great they are but everyone buys them here and are made to all exhaust pipe sizes. I was quoted nz$80 for the muffler but you need an exhaust tip too. They make all cars sound grunty and can be used as front or rear mufflers. I've seen them on mini's, '89 civics and many others and will definitely buy one soon
