Hi,
I'm new here,I'm from Malaysia, I owned a 1st generation civic (1977),4 door version and the engine is 1500 with 4 speed manual transmission,the hood look like one that is found on a 1500 cvcc,but my one is not a cvcc.Can I swapped my engine with a VTEC DOHC engine since my engine bay is the same as 1500 cvcc.What type of modification is needed to swap the engine,the mounting etc.For your information my car has done the follwing mods

1) K&N air filter
2) Sparco seat
3) Dunlop SP8000 tyres
4) I'd changed the bumper
5) Cyclone
