I brought a set of Enki rims 13X? in the yard. I got very lucky and I also got a rebulit carb in the yard. I record it is the same as Rick's car. you have those set of rims too. Do you know how wide is the rims and also what tire I should use for those rims. I plan to buy the Dunlop GT 205/60 R13 will it fit the rims and leave enough clearnce space for my car. Also is 205/60HR13 Sumitomo HTR 4 better than Dunlop. They are both the same price in Tirerack. Does anyone know a better store on-line sell cheaper tire than tirerack. Any of your help will be appreciated.

Does anyone know? Because I don't want to spend $200 on tires and find out it won't fit my car.

Nobody is going to be able to tell you if the tyres will fit till you tell us the rim size. I would hazard a guess that they are probably 13x5 or 5.5 at the most, but that's only a guess, in which case 205s are way too wide. The size should be cast into the rim somewhere. If you can't find it, measure them.

Did you measure the inside or the outside width?

Ken,
That wheel is 5.5" wide. look closely at the stamp or cast (whatever) it should say there.

Look at the "My Interor" thread. there is a shot of my wheels b-4 I had the tires mounted (gold in color) you can see the stamps all around the outside perimeter... look there on yours. All the secrets of the Cosmos are there.
Oh, yea... I agree with Adrian... 205 is too wide.

my rims is a similar style with a flat surface and Rick your is curve inside. I hope you understand what I mean. How about 195 because tirerack don't stock any 185/60 R13 anymore?

Another great but very aggressive tire is Yokohama's A008G 175/50/13. Doesn't do well in wet or snow, but awesome when it's dry. It is very low profile and handles great, yet the ride is a bit noisy and bumpy.

I believe there is also a 175/50/13 Summitomo HTR 50H, that would work better in bad conditions. I run the 15 inch size on my 89 CRX SI/ZC and my 86 Integra powered Civic SI. Love that tire too.

You might have to call Tire Rack and ask them about this size since 13 inch tires are rare on newer cars.

I can take a picture of the Yokos if you want to see what they look like mounted on rims.

Man, these pop-up banner ads are SO FREAKING ANNOYING! What is it, every 20 seconds!?!

185\60-13 is max on these Civics...otherwise you'll be eating wheelbearings way too often.
Unfortunately their are few to chose from...not enough market.

Thanks for all of yours comments. I think I will go for 185/60 or 176/50. Unfortunately 185/60 Summitomo is not available in Tire rack for a lower price.
