Ok I went for the big 5 speed onto the 1200cc swap and it wasnt too good...fitted nicly with the EB1 motor to EN1 gearbox...and lost all top end. notin over 100km/h and just lookin at a hill killed it majorly. The engine was ram floed to give it a lil xtra puff but to no effect. After goin to the offical honda dealership to get a new tension pin i happened to mention it and wammo the mechanic there said nope hes tried it and no good...so back to the old 4 speed we are lol
just wonderin if anyone out there has done a successful one and what mods they did to get more top end out

You probably got hold of one of those gas mileage transmissions with very tall gears. A stock EB doesn't have enough power to pull those ratios. You need to find a box with better ratios.

Any of you whom I have sent a copy of the tranny codes and ratios,is welcome with my blessing to scan and download it onto this site (I do not currently have the equipment to do it myself).
It may help everone save the trannies we all most desire.
