I have a 1979 1200.

Earlier I posted a message about an electric car conversion. Well one of the first things to do is to get the old engine out. I don't know what to do with the old engine, so if you want it you can have it.

I live near Washington DC.

The motor has a bad head gasket. It runs strong except water is in my oil. I get the milkshake look (water and oil) under my oil cap.

It has a smooth (grinded) painted valve cover, K/N filter, and a rebuilt distributor and rebuit stock carb.

Hey Roger.

I just wanted to tell ya that the engine is still in the car. I imagine that it would only take a few hours to take it out and put it on a truck. I have access to all equipment needed to take it out.

Oil and coolant needs to be drained. I didn't want leave it dry.

Also, I'll need the transmission. It's nothing special anyway... 4 speed manual.
