You can get a carpet kit from JC Whitney. I'm sure the quality isn't outstanding, but the price is right. It's about $50 for the front section. This is the route I plan on taking once my car gets an inteior (and an engine, and a paint job and a...) . I'd like to hear some other people's thoughts though...

I bought some gray outdoor carpet from Home Depot. They also have the padding that goes underneath it. The outdoor carpet is thin, light and cheaper than normal carpet. It was easy to work with, but in the long run, I think I could have paid a better price and done less work...
It seems like $50 dollars for a carpet from JCW is good.
I covered my rear seat with black cordaroy cloth. I had a problem with adhesives. I found that the best adhesive was also the cheapest. Tub and tile caulk from DAP worked great. It didn't have a strong odor. It let me work with it before it set, and it was strong, but removable too.
You can see the gray carpet here.

I asked the local interior trim shop that does the work for me and he said" with underlay and carpet, custom molded for the civic it would cost almost $350.00 cad.) quite expensive , but i've had mine for almost 5-years and no-fading or wear marks..
