Ok, I was just looking to clear up once and for all the differences in grill and tail lights. Like what years had solid red tail lights, and when did they switch to yellow/red. With the grill I am interested as to which years this grill was found :
1:
Or this one
2:
As I am not to fond of my '79 grill. So to be able to tack the year onto the look would help me out in my little quest. Thanks in advance guys.

Travis, The pics above are from the JDM civics, #1 is 77 and older with all red tail-lights, #2 is 78' or '79 with 3/4-red and 1/4 yellow tail-lights
on the us models the front turnsignal on the 77 and older are a bumble-bee style that mount on the top of the bumpers and the tail-lights are all red. 78'-79'have the turnsignals mounted underneath the bumpers and the tail-lights are half red and half yellow.(When i went to N.Z. i bought back to sets of the early turn-signals and have them mounted under my front bumper(on the corners)on the wagon).

3/4 red and 1/4 yellow? So that's why our all red tail lights are built that way. I've thought to myself many times that there must be some reason they were built with two separate reflectors. When I rewired the white car, I setup the top light as a run/turn signal. The bottom part became a run/brake light. A 1/4 amber turn would've been a kinda cool mod for the '74.
