I want to put a b series motor in one of these old civics. I was just curious about looks and engine bay sizes between all these different years. Any information would be a big help. Or if you could provide a link for me. Thanks.

Engine bays were all the same for 1200s . CVCCs were a bit longer and they were all the same. By the way, it was 73-79.

Phil if you are going out to buy a civic just for the swap I would sugjest the CVCC. 1200's are a little lighter but most of that has to do with engines. But there is more room in the CVCC's engine bay. I am also doing a B series Swap (B16A). But I had already bought a 1200 ('79) so I would suggest getting the CVCC and saving yourself some trouble. Not to mention they come with a Tach, where as the 1200 does not.
