just got a 79 Civic CVCC Wagon, off a friend for $25.

runs and drives, but needs a tune up, some exhast work, and a head gasket, it smokes white real bad.
he thinks its antifreze leaking into the combustion chamber

let me know your thoughts.

also!

i am going to get a civic 1200 engine for my honda 600, and wanted to know what is the best, EB2, EB3? 1300 Crank and rods.

i was thinking EB3 Block and Head, 1300 cc Crank Rods, and Pistons, and then Turbo Charge it.
what is compression ratio of the 1200, with the 1300 crank, rods, and pistons? thanks

Travis

I have heard good things from a EB1 or EB2 with an EB3 head... as the EB3 head is much better. And of course the 1300 crank. Good luck.

Yeah, that sounds like a wagon I had that the head gasket was bad.I used one of those cure in a bottle things(Sureseal I think it was called)That fixed the problem and the car went for another 20,000 before it blew again and then I scrapped it!For the 600 why not some bigass bike motor?Just a thought.
