I am a little ticked so please bare with me. As you can tell by my latest post I have been having some carb problems with my 79 CVCC w/ the EK1 swap. I was searching for a Keihin 3 barrel carb like the one I had. I had asked a lot of people on the page and the Yahoo one. I received a e-mail from a Mr. Montoya in Carmillo, California stating he had what I was looking for. A 79 stock CVCC carb, Keihin 3 barrel. He said this was completly rebuilt for $250 in the near past and that I could have it for $125 plus shipping. I gave minute details of the carb to make sure this was the right carb; even asked for pictures. I was told that he couldn't get pictures but assured me this was the carb I was describing. So I went forth and sent $130. I received the carb and low and behold it was a stock 79 (1200 body style) carb. I know cause I have one. Here is the part that sucks! I e-mailed him immeadiatly and everyday since. I have heard nothing and dont expect to. I asked for my money back and I would ship him the carb at my cost. Still nothing. So my warning is dont purchase anything without some evedince and be warry of Mr. Montoya from Cal.

Anyone need a Keihin stock carb of a 79 hb 1200? If so I am selling one.

Well, if you get rid of the 1200 carb, you can still have mine for 50$ plus shipping. I don't have a picture, but I assure you it's a CVCC carb, since it is exactly the same as the one on my 79 CVCC motor. And I *will* stand behind that.

Sash; I've got a 'box O carbs' If you can send me a pic of the one you need I'll compare it to whats I gots. Does yours have air? Are you using all the vacume lines? let me know!
