Does anybody know what the auxillary valve adjustment is for the EK1 CVCC's? I have an '81 Accord that i have just done a complete tune-up on to get rid of an excessive Back-fire at idle. I have a feeling these auxillary valves have something to do with it. Anybody have suggestions?
P.S. Pulled plugs and they are nice and tan, so head is still in good shape.

I'll check when I get home tonight. if you don't hear from me, drop me a email and make me get off my butt and walk to the garage and check the manual.

What do you mean by a 'complete' tune up? It sounds like a start of a burnt valve. Did you check the cam lobes on 3-4 to see if they're 'groovie'?
The aux lash is the same as the intake valve, at around 8 thousandths. They have a tendency to 'clog' up with sludge. and pretty easy to clean without taking the head off!
