choke warning light keeps coming on-elec glitch? or what. Any clues/tips.

Improperly adjusted choke cable, not allowing it to fully retract, or a bad cable. Fumble with the cable and see if you can make the light go out.

There's a little 'set screw' holding the knob on, see if it hasn't moved on you.
and check the wires under the dash, It's easy to get to, and see if anything is a rubbin

I will check on that stuff. Its weird because it comes on sporatically, I dont even have to touch the choke for it to come on. Also I get some very slight back firing when I rapidly decelerate from high speeds, I know I shouldnt be going that fast in the first place but its fun. Anyway could it be a carb adjust. and if so does anyone have any clues on what is a normal/frequent carb prob?

Also when I go around a sharp, 90-degree turn I get a slight bog or hesitation until I come out of it. Even with a full tank-any clues? Is this working up to a major carb prob? thanx
maybe I will dump some cleaner in the tank.
