You can get to the topics type display page by hitting the second "first gen dis board" at the top of any discussion. New topics are at the bottom.

I am having touble with the keyword search. I enter a search and I can't enter another search unless I log off and back on again. Whenever I click on the button it reverts to my old search results and won't let me try again. Help?!?

I assume the appropriate authorities (Richard) are aware of the current problems.

Roger

There are some problems with the board. I think that I may have to reinstall the whole board at and start over from scratch.

Start printing! It never hurts to have a hard copy anyway.

don't re-install if you are going to lose everything!!!!!!
let us archive the site first...

I have a CD burner, but how do I access the whole site in order to store it???

hey... for about $2.00 a CD, I could make one for anyone who wants one.

I will definately archive the board.. I've already done so once already.

But it wouldn't be searchable like it is now.

I'll let everyone know before I do it.
It probably won't be for a month or so.

Hey Richard, How about in that first window (where it says 'formatin' and such) making a link for donations that can be onlined to you?
Just a thought... Oh btw, I forgot your address to paypal

Richard, (or anyone)

Is it possible to save this entire board as a text string that could be opened in a wordprocessor or somthing. I'd very much like to save it and mabye edit out all the non instructional info. I could put it on cd or floppy and mail it out to everyone. Or mabye we could put up a downloadable link. Searches could be done on the wordprocessor using the "find" or "search and replace". I could save it all, one thread at a time, and merge it all together, but that would be tedious.

All the info that's on this board is replaceable.
It would be easier to save the things you need. This is how I do it. If you miss saving something and it gets erased just ask again, no biggie

1. Hi-light the text you want to save and click the edit key in the upper left hand of your screen. Use the copy feature
2.Paste it to a blank word processor sheet and save it to a floppy. Ta-da! saved info! A few hrs of this and you will have the best tid bits of info stashed at your disposal.
