Everyone seems to be stroking their 1200's. Why not just use a 1300(EN1) block with a 1200 head. Is there something that doesn't make this possible or is the 1200 block better\stronger than the 1300.

i'd like a non cvcc head if they're easy to come by up there. i suppose i'd need manifolds too. if anyone has one (core is fine) i'll make it worth their while. this would be for a '75 1500. my love-hate relationship with cvcc's is leaning towards hate these days.

Mo, What i'm looking for is the Canadian version head and intake for the 1500 78-83years and the same for the I think it's the 1602 that bolts on the US EK 1751 blocks (the space between cylinders 2-3 is about 3/8" instead of 1/2")
And all should be the 4port exhaust design please
'That's all' heheh

Wow, Robb I don't know of any other Honda carbs that'll fit a 1200. The ones I usually swap are the early accord ones to the 1500's (but that's the cvcc engines)
Cal- Adrian, I'm taking the eb2 block to the machine shop tomorrow with a set of std. 1500 pistons. I'll have those pressed on a set fo 1300 rods and attached to a 1300 (US EJ) crank. I lightened a 1500 flywheel last week and need to see if it fits that 1300 crank. It's costing 125.00 US to balance the rotating assy.
