how much for the brake conversion, where do you get it and does it change the bolt pattern.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Eric (208.60.186.26) on Sunday, March 17, 2002 - 09:33 am:

I just finished the CRX brake conversion. I don't know if the one Justins speaking of here is the same, but you can get the parts for the CRX brake conversion at any autoparts store. Be prepared to spend some cash (it cost me around $600 USD with all new parts)if you want to do it right (i.e. new seals and bearings, and getting the hubs pressed in and out)and more cash if you want to have Justin's setup with all the drilled and braided parts. It does change the bolt pattern to 4x100, and it puts the rotors on the outside of the hub as well so they can be easily changed. It is quite easy to do, everything bolts up with minor mods. If you want to find out more do a search of old posts.
