Here's the question...I have an '81 Honda Civic and a '91 CRX engine. What mods would be required to fit the engine into my Civic? Thanks for your help...

basically engine mounts would have to be made up, use your original axles, run the wiring for the injection, put in a hi-flow pump. and you should be on your way!

What does it take to make the engine mounts? Welder I assume? The doner engine came from a CRX the was totaled in a wreck, I still have it, can I use the mounts from that one?
BTW, 2low, I saw your civic. That thing is simply amazing.

If you do a search for Vtec in a 78...you can see how i built the engine mounts..Basically i trim the engine bay so the motor sits in the right spot, Attach the engine mounts and then build the brackets to fit...

There is allot of modifying of the engine bay that needs to be done.

This doesn't sound too hard. By what you guys tell me it looks like I might be able to do this. Thanks for the help and I'll keep you posted.
