Hey Adrian.
I don't know about the fit of the carb, but I just wanted to share some info.
When I was kid I swapped carbs on my motorcycle. I had a 1980 KX-80 with a 1986 carb on it. Wow what a difference! The little bike went from a cruiser to screamer. It was out performing the new bikes... Then it seized and I had to walk home.
Maybe you could machine the manifold to fit. It might be worth it.
Darrell
