Does anyone know how much it costs to bring a civic over the boarder?

I'm gonna go to the bank to find out tomorrow.
it'll be towed over with a tow dolly.

you will have to pay duty on the vehicle you are importing.

there is a brochure at the Ministry of Transportation licensing office on HOW TO and HOW MUCH you pay.

i.e. 0.9 % of purchase price PLUS GST 7% PLUS PST 8% then all the other regular license plate / certification fees to get it on the road.

call your licensing office for info.

MOST IMPORTANTLY ............... the border crossing must have a copy of the CLEAN TITLE to reivew at least 3 days prior to the car arriving at the border crossing. otherwise, you cannot bring the car across.

email me regarding my troubles..... I have done this twice , the first time was a breeze, the second time I feared a rubber glove inspection !!!!

I found the site...
there's soooo much stuff to do...as in filling out forms and that...
hopefully they don't look down on me like I would be smuggling...I'm a teenager with blue hair so they might...ya never know...
well I'm prbably buying ryan's (sash) 79 CVCC...
$400 cdn...and it comes with an extra motor some carbs, etc. I'm sure it won't be too hard to get past... it did say the duty to cross was $182 CDN though...

I suppose I haveta really plan this trip out then. but its all good!!
