I just found out the carbuerator on my MG is an aftermarket Weber model, although I'm not sure which kind. This is good because I have a completely different engine I'm installing in that car and can use all the parts from this one. If I find out the model number, would it be possible for me to get an adapter plate for an EK1 engine? I know Weber does sell kits for these engines....just trying to find out where I could get the adapter by itself.
Second question (I'm trying to save space!) - I'm most likely buying an '83 Accord that I like very much except for the fact that it's automatic. I already have a 5-speed from my previous Accord, has anyone ever switched over from auto to 5-speed and how hard is it? I've never done anything that hard before.

its not a hard thing switchin from auto to maunal providing u have a kinda clue what your up to, the tools to do it and the time. some you can do with the engine in but usually its easier to take it out. u need the flywheel, clutch parts and internals (pedals- both brake and clutch, gear selectors etc)from the manual and away u go. all the holes are factory placed so its just a case of bolting things in and poping a few seals in the firewall to put bits and pieces through.
