I don't think it would be street legal.
Did you see the inside pic?
I like his front end though.

Uh.... Neat, But he's gonna be deaf in about 10 minutes. 172db? That's totally insane. Plus, I don't know if I could stand having all that plastic wrapped around me all the time. I'm not sure about street legal, but he does have a shifter in there, so he must think he can drive it.

Sweet bodywork, but he needs an interior and an engine in there. I guess we all hae our own perferences though. I was thinking of using a similar paint scheme on my car using blue with black stripes. ........Eric

Who couldn't like that? That is swwwwwwweeeeeeeet.
It has everything I love about the old style, and plenty I would want from the new. (except the color).
Oh man, I'm going after some bumpers now. DAMN that nice.

That's real pretty! You said it Farf... the best of both worlds, Old and New. That's what customizing is all about.

I like most of it too. I've tried to track down that Lamb Designs stuff ever since I saw it in one of the original Sport Compact Car Issues. Probably 6 years ago. Only seen similar bumpers on a car around here in NC.

Are they still around? Last I found they used to be in Washington State. Never could contact them.

Any more info would be nice. Thanks!

Justin tried a couple years ago to get ahold of Lamb designs and apparently they are gone or at least we have never been able to find them.

Twyla...was sorta right :) I went down to the warehouse(it was in Federal way at the time)I checked out the kit(only bits and pieces in stock)I was actually going to purchase a kit, but the guy told me to come back in two weeks and pick it up. Well i went back and the Warehouse was empty! Got hold of the Landlord and he told me they did a Midnight move! Never to be seen or heard of again!

That purple civic is here on Vancouver Island I see it all the time... once I raced him in a 79 I had at the time, that car was alot faster than mine tho so he beat me, But that purple Civic inspires me every time I see it.

I just happened to be sittin next to a Chevy Z24 and started to examine the one piece rockers on it. If it could be shortened it would look pretty good. Not to loud, and I was looking at late 80's prelude front bumpers. Could be cut in half and fused/epoxied back together, Althoug not as low as this car. Just a thought...
Hey Jon, wouldn't it be sweet if this guy was the 'Lamb Man' and still had some of this stuff in a garage somewhere.... I'd leave notes or even worse, get his licence plate number and if you have a police friend track the address down... Again just a thought..

Hello all

Anyone have pics of those chevy sprint bumpers on a 1st gen. civic? I think this was being discussed like 2 weeks ago. I got to look at some festiva bumpers, those would be pretty cool but if dude is right and the sprint stuff bolts up I'd give it a try.

the firefly bumper does not look as good, as the purple bumper because it still sits out as far as the factory steel bumper, but it can be customed to bring it in tighter to the body. also the sprint fascia will need the turbo version airdam to look more than just a slap on .

Dang man, Here is Federal Way, my home town.. Grumble Grumble. That is a nice kit. With enough work though it could be reproduced fro fairly cheap. The only real truble would be getting it to everyone who wanted one.
