My father just bought me a set of Honda alloy wheels. They are an eight spoke 12x4" pattern and made my Eniki. I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about them. Unfortunatly I don't have pics.

Enkei make very good wheels, I have a set of the same in a 14X5.5. They look like minilights and should be very light.

I'm actually looking for some new wheels myself. I bought my little '76 CVCC with wheels that the last guy had spray-painted a fuzzy yellow (to match my glowing yellow paint job) and it didn't turn out too well. Instead of just pulling off the old paint, I'm thinking of finding some cool new ones altogether. Any thoughts?

The cheapest way to go is 79 Accord wheels, they are 13"x5"...look very nice in fresh paint...are very strong...and should be easy to find in the boneyard.
76-78 are only 4.5" wide...80-81 are 5" wide but known to bend at lug holes if over torqued, which makes them go out of true.
Only Honda and very early Subaru will fit the 120mm bolt pattern.

Those Prelude rims are 100mm spacing...other than that, not bad looking.

Nissan Z car rims are also 120mm bolt pattern. The Z car rims come in 14" and 15" as far as i know. Check out a Z car, or Datsun 510 discussion board for ads.

1st Gen Prelude are 100PCD, early Subarus are something huge (around 140 I think), Datsuns are 114 not 120. Mazda Rx5(?) is supposed to have the right pattern. Honda Coupe7 & 9 also had the right pattern but they are kind of rare :).
Why not just go to 100PCD, then you have no trouble at all finding any wheels you want :).

Mazda 1800s also had the 120 pcd

I thought the old Subaru's did have the 120 PCD, for the rest I don't know any having this @#$%^&**PCD! And going roud buying 20-year old wheels doesn't make the car more tremble-free at high speeds; they all need about half a kilo for balancing, which makes sense after two decades of torture!!!!
I know there is companies in the US making custom wheels, costs....??? The conversion to a 100 PCD does not look that simple to me, I'd like to be enlightened on the subject!!
I have found a company in the UK (close to me) who sell 14 x 6 "mini-cooper-lookin" wheels for a 120PCD. They want about 75 pounds a wheel, which is worth finishing your car with. Check out the sit: www.superlite-wheels.com
I asked for chrome but they did not have that, I was probably getting too optimistic!

Wow, this site is what i was looking for! I've bought a set of 14" 6,5 and 7" wolfrace wheels, but with the wrong PCD, 115 in stead of 120. Has anybody a simple solution for this to make them fit. They are so cool! I thougt of welding and drilling, maybe there is an easier way.

Mark, PCD of wheels can be changed. The process is to drill out the holes in the wheel oversize and press in a steel insert with the new hole in it. A guy I know had it done in Brisbane (Australia) so he could fit 15" Magna wheels (4 x 110) onto a Charade (4 x 114.3). It only cost $25 per wheel. Barry.

The Datsun Z-Car wheels (1970-1982) do NOT fit and are NOT 120mm. They are actually 4.5 inches, which is the same as the MGB. I own both of those cars, as well as a '76 Civic 1200. I wish they fit the Civic, as there are some really nice alloys out there!
