Electric Winch in the Garage

This investment is one of the best additions to the garage; it significantly reduces physical strain and facilitates the storage of heavy parts in elevated areas

I successfully lowered a door from the loft with ease by threading a cable strap through the door and along the upper window frame. This is where the hook can attach to the cable hoist. The winch in the loft is mounted on a short piece of Unistrut, allowing it to extend beyond the loft floor.

I also have an additional electric winch installed just above my car, enabling me to lift the vehicle or motor into place. This winch has a higher load capacity, capable of lifting either an empty car or an engine/transmission combination.

In the future, I plan to devise a system to pull the car into the garage, which may necessitate attaching a roller to the floor for vertical lifting.
