Fall Winter Spinning

Argon GalliumThe bike is cleaned up and ready to go, I can hardly wait to break in my sit bones again. what a pain in the butt, it’s well worth the squirming.

I cleaned the hardly broken in new chain, and drive train, I already had put in a new Dura-ace bottom bracket when I swapped in a bigger crank. I am a bit worried I could over do it, so I made sure I had a smaller cassette like the 11–28. It’s great for a lot of hill climbs when you have the big crank and can still get very good speed out of it. You will still need the legs to push it though.

It’s time to get back in the seat again as I have been waiting for this moment. I don’t want to over do it and re-injure myself. My activities have been on a constant decline since June when I crashed on my bike and tweaked my knee. I hope to get back into it soon.

Polar Team – Indoor Team Sports Coach Polar

Team allows coaches and trainers of any indoor sports team – basketball, ice hockey, indoor tennis, volleyball and more – to see exactly how hard each team member is working. This allows you to coach each of them individually, in real time. It also provides information to see who is tiring, who needs to work on their fitness, and who may have energy left in the tank.

Sample screen below during the workout.

This sample report gets emailed to the athlete to review the heart rate stats.

My new ear plugs have worked out great now I can focus and easily pay attention and not overreach in my efforts. Loud noises cause confusion so I just get lost in the moment and end up in the wrong gears frequently.
