Well after a long wait I finally got around to driving up north and picking up my 79 civic. It is home now and I am happy for that because the drive was 4 hours each way and something went wrong on the trailer on the way home and we did not have any lights working on it and it was dark :? Well we made it home in one piece and now it will sit until I can find a garage to put it in until spring time and then i will start working on it and getting it ready to drive during the summer months. Little bit of surface rust but nothing too major and then some little dents here and there and the front windshield has a crack but i think it was worth the time and 400 dollars it took to buy it and pick it up.

The car seems to be in good shape and yeah its the factory silver and I really like the color. It did not go through the last inspection and it was unbalanced brake power, rust on the spring seats and the the front cross member is rusty. Easy stuff to fix and it should be on the road in early spring maybe April sometime. I was out test driving it a little bit and it drives fine, starts up directly even though its around -3? Celsius out. I will ad a pic of the interior for you guys to look at. It has a ghetto radio that will come out plus a speaker that is under the glove box. Thanks for the nice comments guys and i will try to update this thread if i do anything with the car. Oh and the plastic on the hood scoop thing is broken and if anyone has one for sale that will fit please let me know.

I was thinking of putting a stereo in the glove box, yeah I don't want to make any new holes in the interior. I want the interior to look stock.

Well i was out in the car for a little bit and i could not find anywhere in the backseat area to put any speakers and i think i will just try to make something easy with fiberglass in the trunk area and keep it small and simple and try to make it look as stock as possible. As for the front, i will add a pic with this and you can see the little speaker pod thing that is stock on the drivers side. Is it a spot for a speaker? I think i will try to put one there and then another one somewhere in the front and then some in the trunk area. Oh and i took out the stereo and the speaker thing in the front and it looks much better.
