His flag was all shredded so I knew I had one that I have had for years. (Made in Canada)
I gave it to him and insisted he that the shreds down.
I noticed the topper on the flagpole was an old brass toilet bowl float!
I have just the topper for him, a real antique brass topper.
I new I would have to make some kind of an adapter to make it fit.
The Bottom is made from the handle of an old floor Jack. The small pipe is from an old floor lamp. Piece of new flat bar I had kicking around the pointing thing top was destined for for a landfill site. The paint was leftover red caliper paint.
