Make sure you turn the "N" right-side-up before you install it back on the car.

No I wouldn't suggest "panel painting" with a metallic colour. You will run into colour differences for sure. The next step once I move into my new house is to pull all the panels back off, pull the motor, and start the body work on the shell. As far as the HONDA letters and the N being the right way up.... well I have put them on allready, I just double checked and I did put it on upside down :oops:

well, I'm back at it... I have taken a long brake from my project since I moved into my new house.... so today was the day to start removing all of the finished panels again. Time to get the body ready for paint. many rust patches to deal with first tho

Still having problems getting my pics online here. rather frustrating to say the least. haven't got to the nasty rust yet, but the motor is out. All of the suspension in the front end has been stripped and re painted. struts, springs, lower control arms, brake calipers(new re-mand), front cross member, knuckles and hubs, fan and cage, and also drive shafts. A lot of tedious work but well worth the outcome. Cant wait to get my pics on here :roll:

ya, I've decided to stick with the same engine. I have it fully stripped down just to the head still attached to the block. I noticed one of the intake valves not fully seating so until I do a leak test on the motor I'm not sure how much further I will go. if it's the rings also leaking then all bearings and rings as well as a valve grind will get done I guess. Cant wait to get my pics on to show everyone.
