It is the original factory rear wiper set up. It was all in the original box (incl. Japanese & English instructions and measurement templates), but it was weird that the wiper motor was incorrect and larger than it's supposed to be. Also the switch was wrong. Luckily the switch was still available through the local Honda dealer and the motor I made to fit with a few adjustments. Maybe it was a set for a 5 doors??
Btw, I just bought a smaller blade which would fit an old mini. It's about 12" so it will do. Thanks anyways!

Rear Wiper Setup Sheet
Not really much going on today. Just made some new spark plug wires (Pertronix 8mm) and took a couple of pics of the rear wiper instruction sheet. Hope you can figure it out

Well, today my buddy Den Ware has solved the little Pertronix issues and fired the car up for the very first time :D (after he got a shock of 40,000 volts ).
It runs pretty well, though it needs a bit of fine tuning, but it's another big milestone in the project!
This Monday the valve cover goes out to the powder coater. Wrinkle paint didn't do what I hoped it would do (my own mistake). Going for a matte black finish and maybe I'll add some green to the Honda letters on top...maybe..anyway check out the video.
Btw, the RS dash emblem is in 8)

- For my rear wiper motor I was missing the plastic cap to cover it, so I made a iron cap myself and fitted it underneath the vinyl. Not quite 100% tight, I'll have to put a little more glue on it...job for later.

Well, it's nearly finished and honestly, that's a bit of a mixed feeling :?
Today me and my dad did a little valve adjustments and ignition timing, so it runs okay. There's still a little 'tick' in the block, but maybe it reduces after some KM's..I'll keep an eye/ear on it .
Any way, new seats are in and look really good and the are really comfortable and give a lot of support, so happy with that. Next week some little bits and pieces and then it's "MOT" time :D Enjoy the pics!

Was able to do a couple of little things today. Fitted the rear washer bag. Used the same bracket as used for the front bag (I'm missing the original cover with bracket, so I had to make up something else) and mounted it behind the rear panel. Had to adjust the nozzle a bit, cause it was washing my front wind shield
Photo's are not that good, but in real life it looks pretty tidy Finally, gave the spare tire a little new paint. Any hoo, tbc!

Made a start with my strut bar today. It's a Corolla E10 one, so it has the same bolt pattern, though not quite (where the triangle of the Civic points upwards, on the Corolla it's pointing more downwards, if you know what I mean).
Anyway, making it all fit right now and I must say, the result's going to match with the rest (looks wise, which was a bit of a worry) and will do it's job.
Can't till I receive my A/T Engineering sway bar set

Took the car out for the first time and it drives and it shifts :D Still a kinda tick in the block (maybe oil- or fuel pump), I think I'll let a mechanic check it out when it's going for MOT. Also going to shorten the exhaust, cause I bumped my nose against it when fixing the brakes :? (don't laugh!)
Check out the new video
