Cleaned the original EB1 engine before taking it to the machine shop .

First wet blasted the engine,then rinsed it with a hose.Than washed in dishwasher for 2 hours

the (dis)advantage ,of having more then 1 vehikel is that you have more stuff lying around.
So i was loking at 1 of my bikes and got a idea...........

Got my engine back from machine shop,painfull on the budget....
luckely i can do the rest myselve

Also found time to go further with my adj camgear.
To do:
countersunk
make slots for adjusting
cut gear in 2 pieces

The Kawasaki pistons fit ok but the deck height is much less so you will have lower compression. I cannot see the benefit of these pistons. Here the pistons are linked together by the piston pin. Kawasaki piston on the right

Yes Iknow.
The deck Will be skimmed to fit The piston.
Adjustable camgear Will sort The timing difference deu to lowering the deck hight.

I Will also use 1300 crank. And The longer 1200 rods

Now i can equal them,as i have 3 times 380gram and 1 382gram ,so 2 gram off difference .not much!!

Not that i will ever notice this total difference peek:
But just because i can :dance
