None to be found
I haven't seen an old civic on the road in 10 years. It's better than I was expecting

So getting at all the rust won't be possible. I'm hoping i can use some rust inhibitor or sealer. Any suggestions?
I'm using crusher glass for blasting, has anyone used a more abrasive sand for quicker results? (it cold outside)
welding? low heat will tack but not penetrate i know it will hold but does anyone stitch over the tack? The more I grind I worry I'll take too much parent material off there isn't much to start with

Considering the temps here I'am probably going to blast (using glass) inside. Weld also once i find a proper way to vent the fumes.
Looks like you are doing a very good job of getting rid of the rust. Minee is worse in some areas, better in others when i see what you have to contend with.I'd wheel mine outside to blast to except i have too many things to move, plus the gravel driveway would be a b itch to roll the rottessiery on. :(

now I'm working on the floor pan and rockers
hopefully, they are not too tricky but it's a start

Yes, '5' would be '77. Was it first registered in '76 or is that just what the recent rego papers say? These things tend to get changed over the years as cars change hands and people don't know much about them.

There are differences between the years but 76/77 are very similar. Depending on where you are you might have trim differences (but it's all interchangeable). Mechanically there is nothing much worth mentioning (except maybe emissions stuff, again depending on where you are). The only big difference body-wise is the front strut towers (the strut tops in a 76 are smaller than a 77). What is the diameter of the opening where the front strut top mounts?
Civic Garage for all your rubber seal and weatherstrip needs.

Good to know i measure 4-1/4 across the strut opening. I want to order BC Coil Overs (someday) that would suck to order the wrong ones. so, a big thanks
The other thing i was wondering about is all the weather stripping (should all be the same)?
so i probably have a 77 ! neat ill post up some pics they say a picture is worth 1000 words. That's good i never know what to say.

The floor went well, I think. It needs some grinding but I might leave the stuff that gets covered with any thoughts.

The rocker went in pretty easy, and now4 I need to work on the back strut mounts.

feel free to comment on anything, I have never done anything like this before, so if you see something not right, I I would like to know thanks for looking.
