Bumper Holes

These holes are on the top of my bumper "filler plate." What are they for?

A spot to run the wire for accessory lighting?

QD has a CVCC though --- his model never had the top mounted flashers/running lights... they are below. Yes? No?

The 77 and prior Civic, cvcc or 1200, have the indicators mounted above the bumper (USDM). 78-79 had them below. I suggested "accessory lighting" ie fog lights etc... indicators are a necessity, although most people don't think their use is :lol:

Yes, I have a 79 and they are below. I guess it could be for accessory lighting. They are factory holes, too. Later, QD.

Water drainage? So the water doesn't collect there when the cars parks?

Yup. That piece wouldn't last 2 years if those holes were plugged.
